A set of five Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Status Reports is now available for use through GTCrossroads (via Cognos Reports). The reports provide timely RCR training status information for employees funded by NSF, NIH, and USDA-NIFA projects that have RCR requirements, as well as RCR training status information for any individual with a GTID.
The reports include relevant information about employees who have been funded by applicable RCR projects during the time period specified by the user, along with the employees’ CITI RCR online training completion dates, doctoral RCR course completion dates, and total number of in-person RCR training hours received. The number of hours includes training completed through OSP RCR Workshops and RCR training events, as well as through approved for-credit RCR courses. Several options exist for querying the information: administrators can perform keyword searches and run reports by Project Number, Fund Code, PDPI Name, Department, or by Person. The reports provide information that has not previously been available in one central location, enabling department administrators and PDPIs to more efficiently monitor the RCR compliance of their trainees.
PDPIs can check their own individual projects and associated training statuses based on their GT login. Employees can also check their own training statuses based on their GT login. However, administrator privileges must be granted in order to obtain access to all of the RCR reports.
For more information or to request administrator access to the RCR reports, contact the RCR Program (Judy Willis) at judy.willis@gatech.edu or refer to http://rcr.gatech.edu/rcr-reports.
